We use Green Jasmine Pearls (little balls of detoxifying delight) in our green clay face mask, the Green Goddess.
You can sip the infusion, add some to mix your mask, and use it as a post-mask toner.
The green tea leaves picked then dried alongside jasmine flowers so that they absorb the delicate aroma and flavour of jasmine. They are then hand rolled into pearls that unravel in hot water.
Green tea contains vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants that fight those little free radicals on the skin preventing signs of premature ageing.
Green tea also contains anti-inflammatory properties known as flavonoids that can reduce inflammation in the skin.
Records show that green tea was first brewed more than 4000 years ago in 2737 BC during the reign of Emperor Chen Nung.
It remains a popular day time beverage and used as a medicine throughout Asia. When you’re preparing your Green Goddess, why not take a sip while you’re waiting for it to cool? That way you’re detoxing from the inside too.
